MEET KENYA CLAY Born and raised in Inglewood, Ca Kenya started dancing in 1998 for exercise"and it turned to a passion that would soon carry her far in life. Booking her first big job with Mary J. Blige in 2003 to her surprise when she tagged along with a friend to the audition. Since then she's been gong full throttle with dance. A dominant force in the L.A. freestyle circuit known as one of the best and has been crowned twice as the Girls Freestyle Champ at "Battle of the Belts" a nationwide freestyle battle where the best of the best come and show their skills. Kenya is now a teacher at Millennium Dance Complex and says that she Loves to teach and hopes to be as inspiring as some of her mentors such as Teresa Espinosea, Brian Friedman, and Jayson Wright were to here when she was getting started. She says it makes her heart smile to know that she's made an impact on people!!! A few of her credits Include Mary J. Blige, Leona Lewis, MC Hammer, Mercedes Benz FashionWeek, MTV VMA's, etc. She is also a member of MTV's Fysh N CHicks... She says to watch out for "The New Movement, Ladies let's get it"...
